Communication: A molecular composite representing a new way of dispersing metal centers on solid supports is reported. Co-polymerization of vinylferrocene with dimethylacrylamide in the presence of a cross-linker inside a polyacrylamide resin matrix results in an interpenetrating organometallic polymer network based on the unit shown in the figure.
