Polyfluorenes are expected to be the materials of choice in future display technology, due to their thermal and photostability, and demonstrated non-dispersive, high-mobility hole transport. These authors have fabricated photovoltaic cells using two polyfluorene derivatives (one is shown in the Figure). The photovoltaic properties are presented, and control over morphology is demonstrated by manipulation of the processing conditions.
