BIFURCATION AND DYNAMIC BEHAVIOR OF ISOTHERMAL CMSMPR CRYSTALLIZERS
The bifurcation behaviour and dynamic characteristics of continuous crystallizers, related to both the real and Hopf/bifurcation phenomena, are discussed by using the moment equations model. Bifurcation diagrams are presented and analyzed for both primary and secondary nucleation. Examining the continuous dependence of eigenvalues of the Jacobian matrix on system parameters, a local analysis of dynamic characteristics is given. Phase trajectories with limit-cycle oscillations, obtained by simulation, are shown and analyzed.
