OPTIMIZATION OF CATALYST PORE STRUCTURES
The pore structure of a bimodal hydrodemetalation catalyst was optimized with respect to a high decomposition of metal-bearing molecules. A macro- micropore model was used for the catalyst support. The influence of significant parameters on the conversion over a time period is investigated. The calculations indicate a high potential for further improvement of catalyst performance.
