Electrochemical formation of titanium supported cadmium selenide films under controlled conditions has been investigated with the object of examination of their photoresponsiveness using I-2/I-3(-) redox-couple. Photoaction spectral studies have been carried out for the characterization of these preparations. The preparations exhibit both n and p type semiconductivity; and this depends on the experimental conditions under which electrodeposits are prepared and tested.
