Asymptotic Analysis of Bipropellant Droplet Burning for the Reaction A+b-)2C
The transport phenomena of convection, diffusion and thermal conduction are analysed for a large-activation-energy burning of a spherical bipropellant droplet. The reaction A+B-->2C is assumed to occur in the gaseous phase. The reciprocal value of the activation energy is the small parameter. The two lowest-order terms of the mass flow rate, the flame position and the flame structure are obtained as functions of the nonstoichiometry of the droplet composition.
