제목 IMC based method for control system design of PID cascaded filter
초록 The PID cascaded filter control system design has been proposed based on IMC method for several process models. The design of the PID cascaded filter shows the exact cancellation of the process pole and also approximately cancels the process dead time for lag time dominant processes. The resulting control system becomes a strategy of the fast dynamic process (or gain process) with integral control, which causes the performance improvement drastically. The dead time has been approximated with sufficiently high order of Pade approximation to give the control structure PID cascaded filter and maximum accuracy. The simulation results show the superiority of the proposed tuning rule among other tuning method based on IMC-PID controller, when the controller is tuned at the same robustness level. The robustness analysis has been performed for the model mismatch, and a guideline has been suggested for FOPDT and SOPDT model.
