제목 Basic Study for Development of Dual-functional Zeolite from Coal Ash
초록 The objective of this study is to develop dual functional zeolite which has ion exchange function and precipitation function. The raw material is bottom ash produced from coal power plant.  The coal ash was treated with 2M NaOH and 0~2M MgCl2 solutions. Also, the reaction time and the crystallization time were  changed to 1 ~ 5 hours, respectively. And the new zeolites were tested for the recovery properties of NH4+, PO43-, I2 and methylene blue from artificial wastewater. P-type zeolite is successfully synthesized from bottom ash at reaction temperature 100 °C, reaction time 1 h in 2M NaOH solution. If the ash treated with NaOH and MgCl2 solutions, the adsorption property of NH4+ is deeply decreased, but the removal capacity for PO43- is strongly increased.
