Biodegradation of phenol by the use per waporation
The paper concerns microbial degradation of wastewater contains phenol as the main pollutant. For the selected strain - Rhodococcus erythropolis process kinetics was considered and the range of substrate concentrations in that process runs efficient was chosen. Because of the waste parameters are different from the parameters of biodegradation process, it is reasonable to selective concentrate the biodegraded compound and then dosing that under control. To this aim served pervaporation process carried out with the use the hydrophobic membrane.
