제목 Deposition and Characterization of Pentacene and Soluble Organic Molecules for Organic Thin Film Transistors
초록 During the last decade, there have been increasing interests and developments in organic thin film transistor (OTFT), Owing to attractive features of OTFT are low manufacturing costs and improved processing conditions, for flexible displays. We investigated the pentacene and other soluble organic molecules (e.g., pentacene and thiophene derivatives) as semiconductive materials to fabricate OTFT. We deposited pentacene on silicon oxide (i.e., gate dielectric) at various thicknesses from 60 ?to 800 ?through thermal vacuum evaporation. Then we studied morphology of organic layers with atomic force microscope (AFM) and correlated the results with mobility. Other organic molecules were deposited via spin coating and vacuum deposition. There, OTFT characteristics will be described and compared with literature data.
